Transaction strengthens Valcourt’s footprint in Florida and enhances service offerings in commercial painting, coatings, and waterproofing
St. Petersburg, FL – Aberdeen Advisors is pleased to announce the successful completion of its engagement advising Service Painting Corporation (SPC) in its sale to The Valcourt Group, a leading provider of commercial building exterior services. This strategic transaction marks a significant milestone for SPC and underscores Aberdeen Advisors’ continued commitment to delivering exceptional M&A outcomes for middle-market companies in the building services sector.
Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Tampa and Orlando, Florida, Service Painting Corporation is widely recognized for its expertise in commercial and industrial painting, high-performance coatings, and complex waterproofing. Over four decades, SPC has built a strong reputation serving premier clients in theme parks, sports venues, healthcare facilities, hospitality, educational institutions, museums, and other commercial markets.
Under the terms of the agreement, SPC has joined The Valcourt Group, expanding Valcourt’s technical capabilities and deepening its presence in Florida’s commercial construction services market. Approximately 65 SPC team members have transitioned into The Valcourt Group, with industry veterans Todd Monroe and Randy Jaskiewicz continuing to lead day-to-day operations as joint General Managers.
The transaction was led by Hank Riner, who served as the M&A advisor overseeing the engagement on behalf of Aberdeen Advisors.
